And anyway, the Baustelle are worth it, absolutely. They are not just a simple mainstream phenomenon; they really have a brain, and they know how to use it. The Bluvertigo are a bunch of phony intellectuals because their lyrics are actually extremely banal: only a superficial person could believe in any depth in those lyrics. Or a fanatic.

@alia76: as you can see, I'm not the only one who thinks this way. Templare added some things that I didn't mention in my comment, and he's absolutely right. And Ventura maybe didn't matter back then, but now she does, and it shows how even that supposedly revolutionary character of Morgan eventually sold out to the highest bidder. Anyway, I've heard several of their things: once I even put on "Metallo non metallo," but I couldn't get through it, which happens to me with very few albums, at most one in 30.

Despite a good use of electronics, I still don't understand the people who said they were one of the best Italian bands... Under the pretext of "elevated" lyrics and everything, they sold them to us as geniuses: they don't impress me much, and in that regard, Baustelle are definitely better. ("Complicità" doesn’t have that emotional punch... whatever) Good review anyway.

A necessary film. What is not necessary is the rating: works like these do not need (and perhaps do not even deserve, on a directing level and more) a high score. They are works to be taken as they are. The rating should be given based on how successful they are once they reach the audience. Unfortunately, for the audience, very few have passed through. (I certainly felt the stir of rebellion.)

Masterpiece. I already know it will end up in the top 10 of this year.

Okay, I'm a disgusting little pirate if you want, but I listened to The Crying Light two days ago. And I swear, it's a masterpiece. This is just a taste, wait until you hear the album...

A huge yes, but I haven't had the chance to hear it yet. However, I had the honor of seeing it live, opening for Explosions in the Sky.

"The Ayreon project is not a hodgepodge of big names thrown together to produce more or less successful catchy songs like 'Avantasia'." Oh no?
The Beatles Abbey Road

Good content, debatable form (grammar) and the beginning a bit clichéd. Praiseworthy, anyway.
