It all starts with a chance event: during a concert, Pete tries to perform his usual stunt, which is to spin the guitar over his head, but, thanks to the very low ceiling of the venue where they were playing, the neck snaps (it should be added that the instrument was already damaged, as he was used to wielding it like a bayonet against amplifiers to enjoy the feedback it produced). Surprised by what happened, in a fit of rage, he shatters the remaining body with the microphone stand.
