The Van Pelt Sultans Of Sentiments
Voto:
Fantastic album, one of the best really of the American indie scene of the time, along with those from Guided by Voices... too bad they broke up.
Shudder To Think Pony Express Record
Voto:
extraordinary, these have created an absolute masterpiece of rock. Much better than indie records, more mature, complete: it's just that there's always the guy who says "better when no one was listening to them except me" and they tear it down...
The Police Synchronicity
Voto:
"of the 15-year-old losers who have just learned that in the '80s there was new wave and the Police." ...dear Copernicus, I certainly did not offend anyone, I merely tossed a stone into the pond. Evidently, when certain sacred cows are touched, the lack of arguments automatically triggers insults...
Bob Dylan Desire
Voto:
For me, desire is much more varied than blood on the tracks, which certainly boasts superior lyricism... it's hard to choose, in short.
The Police Synchronicity
Voto:
The first one to vote twice seems to have been the carpenter, who is also the author of the review... this says a lot about how certain people take themselves seriously, coming here to act like frustrated scribblers, convinced that they will find some other outcast like themselves saying "what cool and extreme stuff you listen to, what fantastic reviews you write."

Voto:

The Van Pelt Sultans Of Sentiments
Voto:
a "minor" masterpiece of 90s indie rock, but not any less worthy of attention. A nice rediscovery.
Buffalo Springfield Buffalo Springfield Again
Voto:
the lights turned off, and the curtain fell down....
