Sonata Arctica Ecliptica

Yes, I agree... the Sonata still had to develop their own sound, but the songs are very beautiful... unopened, letter to dana, a kingdom for a heart, replica... really all catchy songs in a pleasant way... back then the bass part was a bit more polished.... but I wouldn’t want to be too annoying with these discussions... I can give my rating now... at first it was a bit of a joke since I didn’t have the disc...

Well dear IO... don’t get your hopes up too much... and anyway, don't say that Kainulainen isn’t maaahaahaleeehee because he's really crap... his only gift is speed, which played on the stuff he composes is worth jack shit... playing sixteenth notes or playing eighths or quarters doesn't change a damn thing because they're the same notes... he just plants the bass of the rhythm guitar chord and that's it... but tell me, does that mean playing...! and it’s still worth jack shit compared to bassists like Steve diGiorgio, Steve Harris (whom you mock but you should just bow down to), Cliff Burton, and a thousand others... Grosskopf (without the 'o') is a good bassist... of excellent level, how can you deny it... but is he perhaps the only one... ps greetings to Li, I see we understand each other...

And anyway, it’s not easy to produce a new sound after 20 years of magnificent heavy metal...

here it is, it has arrived...dear ME, don't curse, don't mess with something that is bigger than you...the solos of your guitarists are just pentatonic runs, or anyway original solos but too repetitive...Iron Maiden are in the pantheon of metal because you think...listen to some CDs and then tell me...for you who play the keyboard (with puè) this genre shines because there is only keyboard...and don’t hammer the balls "no, no there's also guitar..." look at the bass passage of Black Diamond...it’s the same as a passage from Black Sheep in a different position...oh no but the power is nice, sure, sure...

Good thing IO hasn't arrived yet, otherwise farewell... Anyway, dear Li, I want to clarify that I was speaking strictly from my own perspective... as a power metal player in the past... the melodies of Sonata Arctica have definitely revitalized the power metal scene, which was too focused on Stratovarius... the songs are truly beautiful, I agree with you... it's just that they're not the best to play... at least for a bassist... but I like them too, don’t doubt that...

Oh yeah...it's a song out of this world...solos galore...and it's naturally filled with Christ...the rhythm, very jazz and a bit funky, is simply wonderful...

OK for simpa... but it's not that great... look at the tablatures... they're nonsense... nothing works underneath... however, it's fair to say that power metal is often identified with Stratovarius, which is incorrect as there are many other bands... anyway, power metal doesn't really excite me... even as a bassist... much prefer thrash or progressive... the rhythms are monotonous and poor... and the solos aren't even comparable in originality to other genres...
