Grateful Dead Blues for Allah

Of course, one can make mistakes: however, it seems to me that Supersoul is overestimating this album, even comparing it to Davis's works. I reiterate my judgment; nonetheless, I find it a record worth listening to and worth rediscovering compared to so much trash, even from the '70s.

Well, talking about bigoted Venetians is the usual cliché - to which this film contributes - a bit like saying that people from the South don’t want to work, that immigrants are criminals, that Lombards are tax evaders and Berlusconians, and that Poletti’s remarks are often controversial but superficial. As for the film, I can only say that some of my relatives met Germi on set and found him to be a true gentleman.

As an old fan of BOC, I can only be pleased with the choice: I’ve never heard it, but to be honest, I’ve always preferred the dark soul of Bloom and Albert Bouchard over the high-class melodicism of Buck Dharma. In any case, hats off to the aforementioned artist and the reviewer.

Dear Kurt, thank you for your judgment. I too share your view on the Simpsons: I have never liked those who have elevated their pop craftsmanship to Kultura; how much we would need the Skiantos "la Kultura poi ti Kura."

thank you 47: I was a bit disappointed because many of the commentators seem to have stopped at the bold "revolution." I had also suggested a comparison with "Opinioni di un Clown" and someone quotes the Simpsons to me. Too bad because I would have liked to start a discussion about the movie in parallel with the book.

@hetzer: Well, I'm convinced it's a nihilistic film and that's why I've been philosophizing" (but don't take me too seriously, even though it may seem that way). Merry Christmas to you too.

@sempre Hetzer: for example, read this sentence "I believe it is misleading to qualify the contents of this film as revolutionary, contrary to what the prevailing criticism has claimed, as well as many other reviewers on the internet..." Are you perhaps Poletti under yet another pseudonym?

@hetzer: maybe you should read better what I'm writing...

@poletti: I quote myself "In reality, in describing its story of 'decline-loss-rebirth-purification, ' the film implicitly, yet rather conformist, represents the spirit of Christmas...", I did not mean to say that the film is revolutionary in the current sense of the term, to which I agree with you; "revolution" revolves around, going back to the starting point, like eternal return to Nietzsche, for a film that, indeed, is nihilistic.
