Tim Burton Batman

Okay Melissa, it seemed too comic-like to me as a film, but I still remember Tess Cuorsincero fondly. In general, it's better that comics remain comics.

Um... Melissa, are you sure you said that right? I find Dick Tracy awful - and to think that in January '91 it was an event to go see it in the cinema - Explain yourself better...

Recently discovered, I really enjoyed them, especially in Hallogallo and Negativ Land. Kraut rock isn’t always effective; let’s say it can often be tedious, but in this album, an excellent balance is achieved, and, above all, an innovative language for the time is formed.

Nice review. I would like to ask Gbrunono how he interprets the Milian/Monnezza relationship: I also think that the Cuban actor didn't really love the character, at least not in the final phase of the saga.

Great, even though I’ve always listened to them in a distracted way. Excellent review.

I also, like some of you, prefer the Rolling Stones to the Beatles. Although lately I've been re-evaluating the latter. Every now and then I wonder how we would regard Jagger & Co. if they had disbanded after this album or Exile, without overexposing themselves starting from the late '70s...

For a night at the movies, it's not too bad... from a "critical" standpoint, no one has noticed that, in some ways, it resembles the old Rapa Nui (1994).
Stanley Kubrick 2001: Odissea Nello Spazio
Voto:
I knew it was an allegory of Nietzschean thought (not by chance does the film begin with the notes of Zarathustra). In any case: it marks the evolution from hominid to Superman (astral fetus). Not coincidentally, the Discovery is shaped like an arrow shot toward infinity, and Bowman means archer.
From a technical perspective, the film captures certain inspirations from Antonioni, but with a far greater directorial depth and, overall, with a truly haunting plot. It remains a masterpiece that feeds mainly on what is unsaid and appears contemporary because, after forty years, one can say everything and its opposite about this film.
The sequel, inspired by Clarke's subsequent novels, trivializes the philosophical sense of the story by providing a science-fiction explanation for everything. They are completely detached from Kubrick's film.

Great review, excellent group. I've never heard the album, but you make me want to check it out. Unfortunately, I have to mention the recent presence of Aldo Tagliapietra, accompanied by a group that IS NOT Le Orme, on some local Venetian networks, performing rock-based covers of Battisti. This frankly disappoints me, because Tagliapietra shouldn't need Battisti to be recognized, even today, as a top-notch musician.
