Yes, by name, but I've never heard them. They are part of the minor English scene, they were never a top-tier band, and they stood out especially thanks to M. Schenker. However, for my taste, when it comes to the '70s, I would play it safe with: 1) Rush; 2) BOC; 3) Led Zeppelin; 4) Deep Purple; 5) Black Sabbath; 6) Uriah Heep. The rest, in some ways, is superfluous in the Hard Rock sector. Then, to understand the developments, let's go with the inevitable Judas Priest!

Okay, crystal clear. I was also impressed by that movie, but from the repulsion, love for the director and the genre was born, as my nickname indicates. As for the Behive, I don’t know what to say: I preferred the Holograms and the Misfits!

Sorry LaRock, can you explain the reference to Dario Argento in your latest post? In any case, congratulations on the review (which I found to have a "playful" aspect) and don't mind the criticisms.

I started listening to this genre at 14. Before that, you could say I didn't listen to anything.

Always welcome are the reviews of Rush, even when, as in this case, they don't seem entirely on point. I truly believe this is the group's masterpiece, and, above all, I don't see much of the Pink Floyd influence: at most, we are at the crossroads between Led Zeppelin and Yes, but Rush are better than both!
Rush Power Windows
Voto:
Overall, it leaves me a bit cold... better than the previous Grace Under Pressure and Signals. However, Power Windows is certainly more interesting than the subsequent Hold Your Fire (not bad, but not entirely convincing).

Great, I got into the genre thanks to them. More Purple than Rainbow (in any case, English).

Yes, don’t hold it against me, at least in the hard rock genre and its surroundings: while it’s in the first three albums that their skill should be assessed, here it’s a bit less so.

I am proud to be the first! Congratulations, lately I’ve become passionate about the so-called kraut rock and I share line by line what you write. They are timeless, because every note of theirs seems to be "written," and "played," this morning.
