It would seem interesting.

I also support Uprising (not even reviewed on Debaser, if I’m not mistaken!), perhaps because it’s more accessible. Marley has been the subject of a posthumous "cult" that may have trivialized his figure.

Great LaRock, a comprehensive review, simple and never heavy. Poletti in agreement with Il_Paolo? When opposites meet!

Sure, Lux, what truly matters is the attitude. Obviously, there’s no controversy pro or against Nirvana (after all, in rock, which descends from blues, the similarity of guitar riffs is not uncommon; just look at Led Zeppelin and alleged plagiarism).

The riff of Godzilla, suitably slowed down and changing the accents... is similar to "Smells." A song that, by the way, wasn't exactly original even at the time of its release, without taking anything away from Nirvana.
Mario Bava La ragazza che sapeva troppo

Thank you all for the comments. @Melissa and Lord: for its time, the film is very valid, especially from a technical standpoint. Compared to other Bava films, the choice of actors is also quite pleasing. I confirm that Argento has taken a lot from this film, although this certainly doesn’t diminish his cinema.
Rush A Farewell to Kings

Keep in mind that on this site - but pretty much everywhere - Rush fans are particularly knowledgeable and passionate about the trio's music, often having little tolerance for claims about the "psychedelic" nature of their work. Nevertheless, don't be discouraged. Exclusively for the fans: in my opinion, Farewell is less cohesive than 2112 and the following albums, with some dull moments. The two suites are magnificent, but the other tracks are just adequate, not standing out too much in Lee, Lifeson, and Peart's discography. "Closer...", while beautiful and with deep lyrics, sounds a bit pandering by the trio's standards. That said, it's impossible to give less than 5 to Rush.

I don't remember if one of my favorite songs, "L'esangue Deborah," is in this album. I think it is.

Thank you for ruining the movie for me. I won't read you anymore.
Rush A Farewell to Kings

Bah. Nothing is further from the Rush of psychedelia, that is, from the free-flowing notes, inspired by chemicals and emotions that guide the musician's instinct. The music of Rush is pure and absolute architecture, the product of three minds united in the construction of the most beautiful cathedral in all of rock. Many don’t like their cold, calibrated sound, where everything fits together perfectly: that's their problem, and luckily, not yours if you show appreciation for the Canadian trio. But, I kindly ask you, do not equate Rush with psychedelia, which I do enjoy quite a bit. Encouragement rating: the album in question is beautiful, but a step back from 2112 (and all things considered, from all the albums that followed during the 1978-1981 period). 5 for Rush... only because the Deb scale is too limited to accommodate the rating they deserve.
