Revolution by Night, which I would like to review, is not all bad. Too bad about your experience, but by that time the band was already past its prime. I believe that in Italy their fans (including you and me) never exceeded 300-400 units!

The film is a silly thing that's always nice to rewatch, even if it remains a silly thing. I like the parallel you made with the concept of "migration," here and alongside the de-review on Nicola di Bari. They should be read together, right?

Could La-Rock, La-Valin, Il-Paolo be the same person? Joking aside (I know it’s not the case), I really appreciate the way you talk about migrants here in an almost lofty sense, while in the context of the Vanzina film, you discuss migrants in a trivial way. Here, the migrant never returns home; there, he goes back, just the same as before.

Well... I certainly don't want to argue with London or Green; however, I've never seen this great guitar or compositional style in Harrison, although I appreciate some of his outings in Abbey Road, both as a composer and performer. Recommend me something valid and tell me how you see him (as a solo artist) compared to Clapton, Hendrix, Jeff Beck, or even Macca.

Templar, I never listen to the "veterans" formations from the '70s or go see them live: I think they've mostly had their time and it's better to listen to the direct testimony of their original music. This applies to Deep Purple (whom I've always appreciated) and even more so to Blue Oyster Cult, which, after the loss of the Bouchard brothers, haven't been the same, in my opinion. The only band from the seventies that still deserves to be listened to in the hard rock scene, in my opinion, is Rush. Personal opinions, of course!

Thank you all for the generous and kind remarks. Listening to the album again this morning on the train, it seemed less bad than what this review highlighted (let's say a 3), even though for an old devotee of the Cult it is unacceptable that the predominant mystical/sulfurous atmosphere of the early albums has evaporated so suddenly. Or perhaps it is just another step in their mutating "Career of Evil," to quote one of the classic tracks from the quintet!

A myth! In my opinion, however, a (not so) gay crypto.

Mediocre as a solo artist, except for "My Sweet Lord" and "I got my mind (set on you)."

Damn Bisius, it’s been ages since we last met on these pages. You've improved a lot: say hi to Padua for me (I'll be there this summer for the exams)!
