Exorcist Nightmare Theatre

Hi guys, so happy to be back and thanks for the comments. This is a time of great peace for my family, so I'm taking the opportunity to send out the reviews I've had in the drawer for too long. @Bartleboom, I also had some lovely beach holidays with my loved ones, so I thought I’d dig up the Exorcist, see you soon ;-) @Extro91 I'm glad you know them, they are definitely a band to rediscover, bye!

Great! I bought "Method Of Madness" on used vinyl years ago; it’s been a while since I listened to it, but I remember Vescera's beautiful voice. I’ve never listened to Loudness (my serious fault), maybe because I switched to thrash too soon. Going back to Sword, I really like "Sweet Dreams," even though it’s less heavy than the previous one (but still well-tempered); their music evokes pleasant memories tied to the sounds they produce. I’m reminded of "Power Of The Night" by Savatage, where Jon Oliva screams his heart out (see "Skull Session"). What great albums! Bye, good night!

Sorry, here I am: I also commented on your other review. The Omen were a valid band, but after "Escape From Nowhere" they lost their way, perhaps due to the overwhelming presence of thrash, or the rise of death metal, or maybe because they hadn’t exhausted all their cartridges. I'm glad to see them reviewed; their comparison to Iron Maiden is debatable.

I remember the cover of "The Curse" being reused, removing the wolf from the snake's teeth, for a compilation of theirs that I listened to a lot, which included "The Curse," "Termination," and "Dragon's Breath." A really great band (I also remember the fast "Shock Treatment" from the EP "Nightmares"). @The Spirit, hey, I've been blasting "Metalized" by Sword these days, truly exceptional.

Hi Bartle!!! I'm doing great and I haven't changed a bit, just a few extra kilos. Eh... you're still my favorite reviewer, I'll send you an email soon so we can have a chat ;)))
Slayer Hate Worldwide

Reading reminded me of Gary Moore and Ozzy Osbourne with "Led Clones". When I think of thrash metal, I think of Slayer; in my rough reviews, I often refer to Slayer-like speed, but it would be better to say Lombardian.

I completely agree with the review; I truly enjoyed reading it. At first, I liked the album much more for its vibes of an old, musty little shop than for the compositions, and I haven't changed my mind. I'm on the same page about Gene Hoglan; I especially think of "Individual..." by Death. I'm really glad to find this review; I would love to know what Rick Nemes was up to with Rapid Tears, but I can't find anything. Anyway, great review as always, see you soon :DD

Somewhere I still have the original cassette and I occasionally listen to it again. Well-used album with four singles and their respective videos, always featuring Basia prominently. Not a shooting star, since they also recorded other albums (with different line-ups), but a charming asteroid of soft pop. A nice dive into my old memories.

Great album and excellent band. For me, the best is "Psychotic Supper."
