What a great band, well done!
Hirax Raging Violence

Never listened to them. Eric Brecht from D.R.I also played, and they're still around. I always confuse them with Hexx, come on, I'll get them. Good rec.

Mythical green, really great review.
Abscess Urine Junkies

Just for the cover, they should be placed in the claws of Predator 2, or rather, the Predalien.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Requiem

Never read such an engaging review.
Sodom Tapping The Vein

Great reception, I would say. I just need to listen to "Obsessed By Cruelty" and then I'll move on to this. Sodom lacks nothing: mascot, logo, the eternal leader, speed, and the determination to keep going by sticking to the tried-and-true formula. Just like Motörhead.

Well... all of life is a habit, Goffredo Parise said and wrote many years ago. That little piece is found in all the anthologies. You get used to everything, little by little, even to respecting other people's tastes. Who knows what the right music is... Who knows... good luck figuring it out.

Well... we have something in common: my father-in-law owns a turning workshop, while my father has always been a bricklayer. I must also say that at my house I was forced to use headphones a long time ago, no one can stand metal. I still have my sister's Bros cassette, with the only difference that she has already forgotten it while I'll arrive at the gates of purgatory with the old Iron vinyls. I got a bootleg in Asiago in 1991, I believe, completely blue with the title "Purgatory" featuring a bust with a head and arms chopped off. Then I gave it to a relative of mine who lives in Uruguay: she packed it in her suitcase and off it went to Montevideo. Very entertaining and enjoyable read, I had fun reading it; I hope more like this come along ;-)

I really like "Witching Hour," especially Araya's screams; King doesn’t seem to interact much with Flynn. Robb already feels like he’s arrived, already in control of the situation... maybe, but I preferred him as a composer back in the days of Vio-Lence and Forbidden. Many say that Bostaph is technically superior to Lombardo, but as usual, it’s the results that speak. In Forbidden, he’s a monster; you can tell he’s comfortable with the compositions, even those he wrote, not very fast but rich with passages that elevate him. In Slayer, he has to play fast songs and has five albums behind him from "Show.." to "Seasons...". And he handles it excellently; he’s likable, he’s the same age as Dave... but Dave was there in 1983 with a pedal, he was there in 1985 with the double bass in "At Dawn They Sleep," and he’s still there with the double bass in "Silent Scream" in 1988, he elevates "Killer Patrol" by Voodoocult with the usual acceleration, pushes into the otherworldly "Hostage To Heaven" by Grip in 1995, in short, he was there when the cauldron was born and he constantly progresses. He’s entered the collective imagination to the point that we want to make him more technical than Bostaph, even when he isn't. Maybe out of sympathy, perhaps for having gifted us with the intro to "Angel of Death," who knows. I’m convinced that Paul’s place is in the first two albums of Forbidden and Dave’s bunk is with Slayer, without ranking. Overall, it’s a good reception; I endorse the final judgment.
