I liked this album right away, but over time I haven't listened to it much. "Difficult To Cure" is better. In "Bent Out Of Shape," the sound is too clean, there are some fillers, and later on, a few ideas from this LP were recycled. It's a decent album, where Blackmore's class appears intermittently but is always present. Turner is a good singer, suited for this type of compositions.

Very poor reviews for a magnificent group. The album is splendid, catchy but also full of nuances, thanks to the two very different voices of Luca and Mario. A band truly worth re-evaluating.

Great review, very heartfelt. I never thought I would see their demos reviewed. Occasionally I listen to them again with pleasure, but I don't go crazy over them. Instead, I absolutely love "Focus," produced superbly by Scott Burns and played just as magnificently.

"Focus" is one of my all-time favorite albums. Certainly, after discovering such a treat, you also feel the urge to look for more material, some outtakes, and you always end up listening to this little work, immediately comparing it to "Focus." Therefore, I agree with Tepes; I was hoping for some previews of "Veil of Maya" or "Celestial Voyage." Great review anyway.

Great review. So far I have only listened to the first two LPs by Sieges Even (I definitely like "Steps"). However, I’m trying to tackle "Life Cycle," since it’s quite thrash and it seems easier for me to jot something down. Congratulations again.
