Perfect review. I listened to the album this morning and it's beautiful, melancholic, and very atmospheric. At least we're starting the morning off right, always amazing Bartle. Bye!

By the way, I recently found out that "The More Things Change" and "Green" were released on the same day: March 25, 1997. Hi ocram, always happy to see you again:DD

The reception is good, the album instead is just okay, too tied to folk and with too many tracks, where hard rock is suffocated by the various ballads. Yet this band wrote "The Rocker," my favorite song by Thin Lizzy, which is on their third album. I agree with Slim about Eric Bell, who was too underrated in the years that followed.

Very nice review, but I absolutely don’t think ā€œGreenā€ is a masterpiece. I have always wished it were with all my might, especially because of the musicians' skills. Inside the CD, I’ve put the newspaper clipping from Metal Hammer where Locicero talks about the album at the time of its release with great enthusiasm, and whenever I put it in the player, I always read it again. He even went to visit Robb Flynn in the studio while he was recording ā€œThe More Things Change,ā€ and you can hear the influence of that album in the folds of this ā€œGreen.ā€ Being a fan of the first two works, I would have liked to see them duplicated infinitely, but I’m not complaining at all. I listen to this ā€œGreenā€ without issues, and my favorite song is the fastest one, ā€œOver The Middle,ā€ followed by the intro of ā€œKanaworms.ā€ Greetings to ocram and Bartleboom, hey guys!

Good review, but I don't agree with the content. You write well, but sometimes you resemble Monti, too much style for a decidedly negligible content.

Great, I just listened to it recently, in fact I'm discovering their music from the '80s now.

I was born on a warm morning in 1970 (the night before there was the World Cup match, Italy-Uruguay 0-0) and now I'm here reading this amazing review. The album has a very '60s cover and I’ll definitely get it, rest assured. Great as always ;-)

This album is 3 and a half stars, rounded up to 4 (not like the Assassins from 1987), a great burst of energy and also decently produced, the good old school thrash, in short. Well done, fenni!
