I had missed this review. I've got this on vinyl, and a month ago I read the latest book about Deep Purple: in short, Lord was dissatisfied with the orchestra's performance, and there are also other interesting anecdotes; honestly, I've never been passionate about this work, it was more of a project by Jon Lord, and the other members went along with it. As you rightly pointed out, this experiment led to the race towards "In Rock," fortunately.

Ocram, what a pleasure! I'm glad you liked the Mordred, and that you’ve come back to our area; we live about 7-8 houses apart (Thiene-Verona). I’m quite scared of changes, as I’m very routine-oriented.
