I bought this vinyl after hearing "The Dark" (is it a coincidence that Michael Stutzer has that t-shirt on the back of "By Inheritance"?), but this debut is superior, an album that from the very pre-romantic back cover inspires strong emotions. So many gems that remind me of various places where I spent my childhood ("Hitman" above all). Well done, Bartle, another great review that is a pleasure to read: cohesive, heartfelt, almost epic. Until next time, goodbye!

Here's a review to read all at once, more than once. Never heard the album, even though I know the band, but with a presentation like this I absolutely have to listen to it (sooner or later). Well done Bartle, truly well done!

I'm just sorry that I can't comment more deeply on your reviews due to lack of time, but now I have a little bit and I want to tell you that I discovered many bands through books on rock, then by reading reviews from Under A Thrash Attack by Metallus.it and on Shapeless Zine, I found out about many realities.
Then one day I randomly stumbled upon De Baser and saw many interesting ones. The fact that you have covered Vendetta and Deathrow (I'll read it soon) is commendable, you have a very fluid writing style and you are very knowledgeable. I'll tell you that I'm currently writing a review on another very slow Death Metal band, but it always seems to me that something isn't right and I'm there with my nose in the air thinking about modifying it. I still have a lot to tell you about music, I hope to find the time for the next review, goodbye!

Great review. Excellent album with a great balance between slow and fast parts. Divine Step is the highest peak of the album, in my opinion.

Good job! I’ve never heard them, except thanks to Metallica, but I think I’ll get something.

My sister tortured my eardrums with this LP when it came out; it's not my music genre, but I respect it.

The review is pleasant. Not so the production of the album by Roger Glover, who had done a better job with Nazareth's Loud'n Proud. My favorite compositions are Sinner and Starbreaker. The cover reminds me of an old horror movie "Alla 39esima eclisse."

I have the album, and it’s awesome. Great review as always for a band overlooked by the mainstream.

I have the next album after this one, but the review is very well done and I think I will also get this Piece of time.

An album rated 5 deserves a more accurate description than just a few tracks. Blitz compared Necroshine to this work, but he was probably kidding. Elimination and Evil never dies are my two favorite tracks.
