Peter Gabriel Passion: Music for the Last Temptation of Christ
Voto:
Magnificent. Gabriel deserves a monument just for this album, which is his deepest and most mystical recording experiment.

The Punisher is right: kid a, but what does your abstention from voting mean by preferring to leave the difficult judgment to posterity? You could have made an effort to let us know your final opinion. I'm listening to the album thanks to the DVD videos available on YouTube, and it already seems to me superior to Guero. Cellphone's Dead and especially 1000BPM are incredibly strong; I don't understand why they bother some people so much.

Walterstarman, forgive my bias but it's really not possible to spend all these comments on what is considered the worst album by the most overrated band (at least since November 25, 1991). And don’t even mention Young Americans next to this album; there’s really no comparison...
XTC English Settlement

I know perfectly well that comments like yours will be irrelevant. You can talk badly about The Cure whenever you want; I won't make a fuss, provided that both English Settlement and Pornography (mentioned only because they were released in the same year) are two masterpieces. However, if you were saying it to provoke, that's a different story...

Oh, back in 2002 I was sure they had excluded that album; I distinctly remember being a bit surprised by that decision from Mucchio. But it's alright, these rankings have become hard to swallow for me. The fact that they excluded an undisputed masterpiece like Linea Gotica by CSI and Bluvertigo (Metallo non Metallo) really annoys me. If you have a copy of that issue, I trust you. Bye, and see you next time!

Look, Sylvian, one of the things I had firmly etched in my memory about this chart was precisely the exclusion of La Voce del Padrone by Battiato, and L'Era del Cinghiale Bianco was among the main titles. I honestly don't remember much about Battisti, but I assure you that the legendary LP by Franco was not incredibly present. Anyway, these are the opinions of the journalists at Mucchio; it's not the revealed truth.

No, in winter, the single I was talking about was The Youngest was the Most Loved, really very nice. In the black and white video, there was Moz on the streets of Rome followed by paparazzi and arrested by the carabinieri!

Ah! You were mistaken about Battisti and Battiato, Sylvian. In that ranking (at least among the top 20) there were respectively Il Nostro Caro Angelo and L'Era del Cinghiale Bianco, then in the remaining positions I think there were Emozioni, Don Giovanni (Battisti), and Sulle Corde di Aries and Gommalacca (Battiato). Maybe double-check just to be sure. Bye!

Well done, Sylvian, you immediately understood I was talking about Mucchio Extra. That was a really nice issue, with the Rolling Stones on the cover (damn it, I couldn't buy it). This album really deserved to be included, but are you sure that among those first 20 there was Buon Compleanno Elvis by Ligabue? No, because those at Mucchio criticized it so much before and then included it on that list... but was there anything by Lucio Dalla, CSI, Giorgio Gaber, Marlene Kuntz in the remaining 80? Just tell me which ones are there. As for Poletti, I’d like to tell him that in Italy, fortunately, there are not only singer-songwriters. But why am I even saying this, he reads a review, comments superficially, and then disappears. Best wishes!

Try to be more concise when you talk about Queen and especially about an album like that. Only Under Pressure is worth saving. And why didn't you give it a rating?
