Faith no More King For A Day... Fool For A Lifetime

Personally, I prefer this to Angel Dust because it's more varied and packed with great songs, in my opinion. Cuckoo for caca, The gentle art of making enemies, and Digging the grave are three solid punches to the gut, and Evidence is an incredibly classy ballad. But all the songs hold up equally well and it's easier to listen to compared to its predecessor. The review is good but too harsh (when have they ever experienced a decline in creativity?).

Hobbit, you made a remarkable review but you got lost at the end: where do you hear the mandolin, the jazz veins, and the splendid sax in the ending "The Big Country"? It’s just a simple, relaxed ballad with an acoustic guitar, a slide guitar, bass, and drums, nothing else. I don't see such a romantic atmosphere, but still... listen to it again and you’ll see I’m right. Other than that, it’s an exceptional and thrilling album, among my absolute favorites. When it comes to the Talking Heads, it's second only to "Remain in Light," in my opinion.

A deeply felt review that makes us understand once and for all how this album is not just a simple masterpiece but a true sonic legend. The first time I listened to it, I was speechless; it has an enviable modernity even today, and le Teste Parlanti could afford to release bad records, as they were already part of history.

PuntiniCAZ, you’re too strong but you could have focused more on the record. And then a masterpiece like this deserves a solid 5!!!
