Perfect. It fully conveys the idea of this, in my opinion, beautiful album. Truly welcome.

It's on this record that I discovered Queen when I was very young. And I liked them a lot.
Joel & Ethan Coen A proposito di Davis

I must say that I liked it. I certainly don't consider it a masterpiece, but that's okay. In fact, it's a bit atypical for the Coens. But in my opinion, El Grinta was also atypical, and I didn't like it at all. Of course, one might have expected more from a work that, even before seeing it, you knew wouldn’t be the usual "Coen movie," but I'm not someone who sets too many expectations for films, especially based on what a director has done before. The comparison, for me, is almost always valid afterward. With a story like this, there was a high risk of it becoming pathetic and predictable, and that's a risk that, in my opinion, was avoided. And that's an achievement.

Tonight I'm going to watch it.

I've never liked even the early Guns 'n' Roses. I tried to listen to these, as you suggested, but I reiterate: it's not my cup of tea. Good suggestion for genre lovers. In just a few lines, the idea is quite clear and gives a good sense of what’s being discussed.

Fantastic album. Review a bit less so. Three, because it's a duplicate, but it hasn't been talked about much, so that's fine.

Of this album, I had obviously heard "The Right To Cry," which you introduced me to, and I really enjoyed it. There's no need to say that I now fully understand what you're talking about ;-) Great review!

Great review! The thought expressed in the first sentence came to my mind too ;-) As you know, I know Vegas and it's obviously a banger. I haven't heard this one. But if it's enjoyable, in the end, that’s all that matters to me. Maybe sooner or later I'll put it aside, but there might be a few tracks to come back to when I want to enjoy something light yet well-crafted.
Paolo Virzì Il capitale umano

The film didn't particularly impress me in a positive way, quite the opposite. A film about how life, an extremely qualitative value, is actually quantified by society could have been done better. It's true that the characters change a bit depending on the people they interact with, but that's just a means to unveil the hypocrisy of the world. At the end of the day, the characters didn't seem very well-developed psychologically. They appeared rather characterized and, aside from a few, really lacked depth. It's true that these simple types of people do exist, but in my opinion, depicting them this way significantly lowers the level of the film. They are "types," not real people. On the other hand, some actors were really good. The "mystery" is functional to the plot mostly to avoid boring the viewer, who ultimately finds it hard not to notice that it's a little story, despite the relatively interesting points that emerge and that the director wants to highlight. By the way, I wouldn't know how to judge the director as a whole since this is the first film of his that I've seen, so I can't place the film within a defined filmography. For me, it's a 2.5.
Aleister Crowley Magick

Regarding similar topics, my only and at least somewhat valid experience is with Jewish mysticism. And then a little bit of Sufism. Of course, I've often heard Crowley mentioned and I've read something about him here and there when it came my way, but I've never been interested in him, just as with all occultism.
