I only know "She Moves She" and I have to say I like it, with the guitar sampling that first bursts in randomly, then decides to keep the beat and share the scene with a music box and the syncopated plucking of some string instrument. Strange and pleasant.

"Cemetery Gates" is one of those songs I listened to on repeat that always put me in a good mood... "there is a light that never goes out" is one of the most beautiful love songs ever... back then, I was struck by Paul’s voice: in my first listens, it sounded off-key to me, but then, as I got used to it, I liked it more and more. An album I wore out with repeated listens.

Well, not the best in Italy for me either, but I appreciate the review. Perhaps the other one was a bit rushed and, as a result, dismissed the album without giving it the attention it deserves, after repeated listens.

I liked The Liars. They went relatively unnoticed (they're certainly not part of the mainstream, just 1 video aired on MTV at odd hours) and they have a truly rock 'n' roll attitude that doesn’t come off as fake. Their sound is quite unique... there's a nice review of LOR15 here on de-b, that's how I discovered them :)

It's true for me too that Zero is somewhat of a half masterpiece, because there are parts that undoubtedly work much less and, in summary, are annoying. However, I insist: Morgan's solo album from last year, "Canzoni dell'appartamento," is a masterpiece, no two ways about it.
