Good job, Marcelos... they make me nod my head, but they don’t say much to me. De gustibus, you know...

Ah, my favorites are Catch, The Perfect Girl, If Only Tonight We Could Sleep, and The Snakepit. But now, who will write the necessary review of the mirrored masterpiece Disintegration?
The Cure Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me

You're right, kosmo, those losers like Rapture tilling the soil with a daily kiss to the feet of the (horribly) bloated Robert Smith!!! They should pay him royalties for every copy they sell. The Placebo, to be honest, should pitch in a few bucks for their "own" You Don't Care About Us... but if we start looking for excessive "influences" in the works of later artists, we'll never finish. Great summary, dark friend, welcome.

If Hal recommends it and there's also the seal of kosmo, then I can definitely see them live at the first opportunity: San Donà di Piave isn't that far from where I am...

Welcome Hans, beautiful review, knowledgeable and overflowing with genuine admiration for Lou Reed. He evokes distant childhood memories for me... when I was small, about two or three years old, my father had the habit of putting me to sleep in the afternoon with "Walk On The Wild Side." When I happened to hear it again, as an adult, after so many years, I was struck by the memory of the impressions I had drawn from it back then. A very strange feeling; even today I try to listen to it as little as possible to keep the emotions it stirs in me intact. I miss Berlin, unfortunately... but I can always make up for it! Once again, welcome.
Bobby Conn And The Glass Gypsies The Homeland

Very interesting, the album undoubtedly sounds very current, with its reference to the hypocrisy of the American ruling class and its "preventive wars." By the way, the concept of preventive war is the biggest bullshit of the third millennium.

You've won my resistance, kosmo... I'll take it.
