It's on my shopping list... great review. Now more than ever, I'm convinced...

I, for some reason, have never been able to stand them; I find this album boring. The review, however, isn't bad. "It was a mess that you couldn't see"...

Ring Finger is indeed a very particular piece. I'm "getting" the rest.

Intriguing... we'll see about getting it. The cover is very nice.

I miss the album, but I saw them live three weeks ago. It was a bit dull; there was just the DJ playing some tracks (nice, but not exactly groundbreaking) and Tom who was simply MESSING AROUND. The repertoire: he danced like a frenzied disco dude, mocked the audience that wasn't paying much attention ("Come on, dance, it's Thursday night!") repeated the same phrase obsessively while keeping the beat, smoked a cigarette every 10 minutes and enjoyed throwing the filters on stage with theatrical gestures, often fiddled with some knobs on a deck to give the impression of doing something (but they weren't actually active)... well, the live dimension didn't grab me, the music seemed nothing special. Will the album be better? They really didn't do much live.

'These Hives are fun, energetic, but still feel a bit familiar. But are you from Padua, psychopomps, or is there another Pedro in Italy?
Verdena Live Goa Boa 2004 - Genova 15/07/2004
Voto:
In fact, I saw them live shortly after, on the evening of 17.07.2004 in Marcon (VE), and they performed excellently, even playing their greatest hits, since the night was entirely at their disposal and Fidel played one song yes and one no. It didn't seem to me like a crucial presence for the Verdena, but that's a matter of opinion. It would be interesting to know who got fed up with Italian rock, just out of pure curiosity.

Someone rightly called him a slyboots. Indeed he is, but I admit I like him, not crazily, but I do. From Lofai Al Cisei, however, it was a photocopy of Mellow Gold. I still need to get this one. (...nca il tempo)
