Well done, it's good to write what you think clearly and without mincing words. You're right that it's much easier to write about something that moved you, rather than something you didn't like and whose listening turned out to be just a waste of time: especially for Debaser, where everyone chooses for themselves what to write, this can be counterproductive - too many positive reviews. That's why sometimes it's right to make an effort to write about what we didn't like. Then, if the work is done well, as in your case, there are those who can still find interesting insights (see Hal). I have the album, and it doesn't seem that bad to me. But I'm not objective about Torrini because I liked the previous one a lot. I would give it 3 points, but I'm only on my second listen. Welcome, Sylvian.

Bloo, if you want I can bring it over, maybe along with a beer one of these evenings.
Easy, I don't know if I should share about the best album on this, in my opinion, Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me and Disintegration (which has a very unique sound) are also in the running... I still find it impossible to choose just one without regrets when it comes to the Cure.
Thank you so much for the suggestion, I dug up the legendary track Bananafishbones: I loved it back then, and of course also Shake Dog Shake. As for the absolute best song, you missed the mark; everyone knows that the best is A Forest/A Hundred Years/Charlotte Sometimes/Untitled/Lullaby/Lovesong /Why Can't I Be You?/Catch/The Perfect Girl... AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!! It's also impossible to choose in this case, I'm sorry. ;-) But I find Piggy In The Mirror a bit too "loffia" for my tastes. Congratulations on the review.

Magomarcelo: ok for dinner in NY; I found a website written shortly after the WTC incident that talks about the legendary bar from that evening. Here it is:
"Mondo 107
The Greatest Bar on Earth. 7pm, FREE.
Sure, the place is swarming with tourists, and the name may be a bit of an exaggeration, but the Greatest Bar on Earth (on the World Trade Center's 107th floor) is a pretty impressive place—not only for the views, but also for this party. On a recent venture, we noticed more than a few Cocktail Nation hipsters mingling to the smooth moves of Lucien the Lounge-Core DJ. He rewards their elevator trek by playing an appropriate selection of tunes old and new, ranging from Louis Prima and Tony Bennett to Pizzicato 5 and Karma. The Mondo 107 party starts and ends early, with the last elevator going up at 1:15 on Thursday morning, but it's just as well—how many martinis can you drink in one night, anyway?"
