Anyway, yours is great, you're right that it will divide the fans, some are already pissed off (even Dan Solo left, Maroccolo is playing the bass) but for me this album works too: after all, they couldn't remake Il Vile endlessly; it's normal for them to seek other paths, always and anyway with the class that distinguishes them and keeps them a notch above the others. I had missed this review... I only know Lost Souls Forever by the Kasabian, which, I must admit, I like. I was looking for information about the Kasabian and relied on the excellent search engine of debaser, and here it is, a review from October! Great debaser - as always - and compliments northernsky.

I don't know ghemison, I really struggle to digest them - and by this, I absolutely do not want to imply any difficulty in listening... the album is actually immediate and not hard at all. I've seen them live too, but I don't have an exhilarating memory of it... you know, sometimes certain things just don't appeal to you. I must admit they have a remarkable taste in choosing the artwork for their covers. La Moda Del Lento has a really nice design. But as for the music... let's forget about it.

I've never been convinced by that type. At first, when he came out, I took him for a female Carmen Consoli, as he sang in a way very similar to the Sicilian singer-songwriter. I saw him live a little over a month ago, and at first, I liked it... then I realized what it was! The songs seemed to be written (and sung as well) by Manuel Agnelli! Almost plagiarism. Anyway, towards the end of the concert, we couldn't take it anymore. I'll refrain from making a purchase, even though I like the review. Welcome, molko77.

You compared the debut of Baustelle to those of Massive Attack, Cure, and Area? Bold! I don’t know about you, but Baustelle... doesn’t say anything to me. I only have their second album, not the first, but... what a boring album, not original at all (and those annoying vocals). This one from the Cure is missing for me; I made the mistake of getting Boys Don't Cry, which lacks a few tracks compared to this. :-(
