I had the opportunity to listen to the new Afterhours album and inevitably made comparisons: as beautiful as it is, it seems much less daring than that of the Marlene. I mean, Afterhours continue on the path set with the penultimate album, "Quello che non c'è," without making substantial innovations to their sound, but producing an intermediary work that, I'm sure, will not disappoint the fans (frangipane in mind ;-) ). Indeed. Godano and friends seem to have no fear of disappointing the fans and keep moving forward on their own path.

I don't share the choice of genre, but the review captures their madness. I used to like those old tracks like Metal Fingers In My Body, the one with the censored cartoon video in Japan because you could see the girl's hair. What a track...

Kosmo: you can definitely feel the difference with Maroccolo, who is more... "imaginative" than Dan Solo in his use of the bass. Plus, there's a particular harmony with Maroccolo, considering he was the one who helped them in the beginning. The overall sound, with Maroccolo's presence, is richer. I have no idea how they will handle the bassist on the tour, whether it will be Maroccolo himself following them or if they will recruit a replacement. We'll see. Luigi: don’t you think you’re being a bit extreme? I understand that the album may not meet your tastes, but a rating like 1 should be given to people who don’t know how to play, not to Marlene Kuntz, don’t you think?

So the micromeeting for New Age is on... by the way, there’s Afterhours at New Age on Thursday night, entrance €12 (they're also playing on Friday, but I’d prefer to avoid the crowd... plus, knowing Agnelli, playing the first night at New Age is fine, but I fear he’ll be more pissed off than usual on the second night and will play like crap, as always when he gets annoyed). Is there anyone in the area coming?
