This debate between Tormento and Fibra is like "the Tupac/B.I.G. of our times"... that's why it's entertaining. Does anyone know if Fibra still has an active official website or a blog where I can check when he’s performing around my area? Testemobili is dead... we’re lacking official news sources.

Of course he's dead: "he's dead fibra but he's risen Mr. Sympathy"! ;-)

You are partially right, Sylvian. I particularly remember a big survey among I don’t know how many music journalists (about a hundred, I think) about the 100 best albums of the ‘80s, and the top 4 positions were: 1. Prince - Sign Of The Times 2. Talking Heads - Remain In Light 3. Prince - Purple Rain 4. Prince - 1999... a bit too much. However, they were journalists from all kinds of publications, not just Rockstar.

A little tear... Prince is a long-standing passion of mine, the most chameleonic artist of black music. A genius who, like Davis, shared a curse ("it's like a curse, I always have to change," Miles used to say). Your description of him is remarkable and deeply felt, congratulations. I started listening to him with Sign Of The Times, then went backwards buying all the other albums, and I followed him for a few more albums afterwards. Hal: at least you must have Sign, then it becomes like a drug. ;-)

I have an MTV unplugged live that was given to me by someone I can't remember anymore, but it didn't impress me... I know a single that I really like, Are You In, which is very pop, classy, though.
