A strange goofy smile is plastered on my face while I listen to this new "Fool's Day" by Blur, damn single released in 1000 vinyl copies (of which I obviously didn't even get a whiff) for this year's Record Store Day, an event dedicated to music and independent music stores.
The song's relaxed, laid-back, boozy attitude and the prominent guitar, first with the accompaniment and then with a nice final solo, makes me feel a little better compared to the dramatic image of myself that I just observed in the mirror while I was dressing lazily.
In a moment, I'll leave the house: the song is already spinning in my mind and will give my movements that laziness and relaxation that I am observing with envy in my cat, who is currently sprawled on the floor.
Maybe she's listening to Blur too.
